Rhubarb is very easy to grow and needs very little care. The tender stalks can be eaten raw but are commonly used in jams or pies. *Note: The leaves of Rhubarb are poisonous and should not be eaten.
‘Canada Red’ is a cold-hardy rhubarb with beautiful large green ruffled-edge leaves. The red edible stalks are very tender and sweet making delicious pies, crisp or jams. ‘Canada Red’ also holds its red colour when cooked.
