Euphorbia are wonderful plants with colorful foliage and unusual flowers. Their flowers actually consist of chartreause colored, ornamental bracts. Euphorbia ‘Bonfire’ also has phenomenal foliage. Leaves emerge green in spring with the top growth quickly turning deep red, orange, and purple. The color deepens to burgundy red in mid summer and then turns a rich red in fall. They are a great choice for a perennial boarder or rock garden.
