100% fully composted wrack seaweed, a Nova Scotia sustainable natural resource, the traditional maritime fertilizer. From starting seeds to top dressing plants, Storm-cast adds to any garden. – Storm-cast’s original all purpose fertilizer is ready to use in your outdoor pots and gardens.
– The 9 Kg bag covers approximately 10 sq.ft. to a depth of 1/2-inch.
– There are approximately 72 handfuls in a 9Kg package. Add a handful with each transplant.
– Pots and containers: Make Storm-cast 1/3 of your potting mix, perhaps with coir or peat moss and one othe choice.
– Mix Storm-cast in the top few inches of soil, especially in the rows or spots where seeding, and in raised beds.
– Add a large handful to each grape vine and berry bush, spring and fall.
– Garlic: When planting a small patch, add a handful with each clove. For larger garlic gardens, sprinkle Storm-cast generously in the row before planting. Top dress with Storm-cast in the spring.
– Broadcast or scratch in when weeding; the amount needed depends on the quality of the soil.
– When planting or moving a tree or large bush, of any sort, add a generous amount of Storm-cast to the readied hole.
Use Storm-cast for all gardening – herbs, flowers, vegetables, fruit and shrubs; on its own and in mixes; main gardens, greenhouses, hanging pots and patio.
It is easy to use, all purpose, and works well with other quality garden products and on its own.
