Ant Moat for Hummingbird Feeder
An Ant Moat is perfect for keeping ants from getting anywhere near the food in your hummingbird feeder. Some feeders have either shallow or no ant moats. Hang the ant moat on a plant hanger or branch, and attach the hummingbird feeder on the hook below. Fill the moat with water. Ants cannot cross the water barrier, so they can’t reach the food. Check the water level often.
