Patty Pan Squash is healthy, nutritional, and an excellent source of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. They do not need to be peeled as the skin is thin, just like zucchini. The flesh has the same firmness and texture as a zucchini, and has seeds. They taste a bit sweeter than zucchini, and they are delicious.
How to cook:
Patty Pan Squash is good for grilling, oven roasting, or sautéing with a little butter, salt, and even fresh minced garlic.
