#3 “Snow Pavement” Rosa Rugosa
Such a beauty is Snow Pavement that bears blush pink buds after deep green leaves in early summer. Buds open to reveal large, fragrant and white semi-double blooms with a tinge of pink, and bright yellow stamens in the centre. In the fall, blooms turn to plump orange-scarlet hips.
It is considered a groundcover because of its low growth habit. It is also salt-tolerant, so the perfect rose plant if you live near the ocean.
