#2 “Sacha” Clematis Mauve-Blue
Sacha has a long flowering period with masses of beautiful mauve-blue flowers with yellow centres all summer long. The blooms like full sun, but the roots prefer cool/shaded well-drained soil mixed with compost and fertilizer.
It is a climber that can adorn many garden structures including gates and trellises with the aid of some ties or clips. This plant can also grow well as a container plant as long as the container is fairly large and shaded.
